These days stag do’s are not about hitting your local town and having a few drinks before returning home and getting married the next day. These days the fashion for such things has changed and people now tend to head abroad for days or even a week at a time! The thinking behind this surely is that combining a stag do just makes more sense. If you are going to spend all that money on your stag do then you might as well get a bit more out of it!

I had the unenviable task of arranging my best friends stag do, and I knew that I would have to do something for him abroad or he just would not be happy. I managed to find some cheap flights to Cyprus online and decided to book there. I had been there before and I knew that the accommodation would be cheap and I knew it would be a great location for a stag do. There were plenty of bars to attend in the evening, loads of great things to do in the day like go scuba diving, and jet skiing, and there would be plenty of other groups out there all out to have a good time.

When I told my mate what I had done he was really thrilled. I hadn’t realised but he had been there a year earlier with his girlfriend and he loved the place. It turned out to be the perfect choice, and we all looked forward to setting foot on the soil of Cyprus
